Quick answer: A PSA marriage certificate costs ₱365/copy delivered on PSAHelpline.ph or ₱330/copy on PSA Serbilis, ₱155 at a CRS outlet (appointment mandatory since 23 March 2026). You will need the full names of both spouses and the date and place of marriage. Under RA 11909, marriage certificates have permanent validity.

PSA marriage certificate requirements
Have these details ready, exactly as registered:
- Full names of husband and wife (maiden name of the wife, as recorded)
- Date of marriage
- Place of marriage (city/municipality, province)
- Purpose of request (e.g., spouse visa, benefits claim, name change)
Small errors cause “no record found” results or delays. If you are unsure of the exact registered details, check the couple’s copy from the solemnizing officer or the LCRO first.
How to order a PSA marriage certificate online
PSAHelpline.ph (₱365/copy, delivered):
1. Go to psahelpline.ph → Order Now → Marriage Certificate.
2. Enter the spouses’ full names, date and place of marriage.
3. Enter requester details, delivery address, mobile, and email. (You may order your own, your children’s, and your parents’ certificates; others need an SPA.)
4. Pay ₱365 per copy — cards, GCash, Maya, 7-Eleven, Bayad Center, BancNet.
5. Track with your reference number. Delivery: 3–4 working days Metro Manila, 4–7 working days provinces. Valid ID required upon receipt.
PSA Serbilis (₱330/copy): fill the web form, print the payment slip, pay at accredited banks, track online. Slightly cheaper; fewer payment channels.
CRS outlet (₱155/copy): book a free appointment at appointment.psa.gov.ph (mandatory since 23 March 2026 — no walk-ins), bring a valid ID, pay at the cashier. Same-day release possible if the record is available.
e-Certificate (₱290): digitally signed PDF with QR verification — fine for digital submissions, but confirm the receiving office accepts it.
Advisory on Marriage (for married persons)
If you need proof of an existing marriage on record — the counterpart of CENOMAR for married individuals — request an Advisory on Marriages (CRS Form No. 5). On PSAHelpline it is ordered the same way as a CENOMAR (₱420 delivered). Do not order a CENOMAR when you are married: the PSA will issue a CEMAR (Certificate of Marriage) instead, which is a different document.
Using a marriage certificate abroad: apostille
For use in another country, most destinations require the PSA certificate to be apostilled (authenticated) by the DFA Office of Consular Affairs:
1. Secure a fresh PSA marriage certificate (most receiving authorities want one issued within the last 6 months).
2. Book an appointment through the DFA Authentication portal and choose your consular office.
3. Bring the original PSA certificate on SECPA paper, a valid ID (original + photocopy), and an authorization letter or SPA if using a representative.
4. Pay the DFA fee (typically ₱100 regular / ₱200 expedited — confirm current rates when booking) and collect after processing (usually 3–5 working days regular).
A unified PSA–DFA e-Apostille route also exists for fully digital processing (around ₱500–₱560 all-in for birth/marriage/death documents) — check the official portal for current availability.
Troubleshooting
“No record found” for a valid marriage. Check the LCRO of the place of marriage first — untransmitted records are the usual cause. Ask about endorsement to PSA before reordering.
Spouse’s name spelled differently from your IDs. Order using the registered spelling. If the registry itself is wrong, that is a correction case under RA 9048 (clerical) or Rule 108 (substantial) — see the correction guide.
Need it urgently for a visa deadline. The e-Certificate (₱290) is fastest for digital submissions. For paper, a CRS outlet appointment with same-day release (when the record is available) beats courier timelines.

How long does delivery take?
Same as other PSA certificates: 3–4 working days in Metro Manila, 4–7 in the provinces, after PSA processing. Track with your reference number.
What are the requirements for a PSA marriage certificate?
The spouses' full names (wife's maiden name as recorded), date and place of marriage, and your purpose of request. As requester, prepare your name, delivery address, mobile, email, and a valid ID — the courier checks ID at release. Small errors cause "no record found," so verify the exact registered details with the LCRO first.
Can I get my parents' marriage certificate?

Do marriage certificates expire?
No. RA 11909 gives marriage certificates permanent validity. Some foreign offices still ask for recently issued copies — check their checklist.
What is the difference between a marriage certificate and an Advisory on Marriage?
The marriage certificate proves a specific marriage happened. The Advisory on Marriages (CRS Form No. 5) is the PSA's certification drawn from a nationwide search of marriage records — used when an authority wants the registry's own confirmation rather than a copy of a local record.
