PH Benefits Guide started with a Viber message.
A few years back, my cousin needed an NBI clearance for a job abroad and asked me to walk her through the online appointment. I typed out the steps. She forwarded them to three friends. Within a week, complete strangers were messaging me the same questions — paano magpa-appointment? Magkano ang fee? Bakit HIT ang status ko?
So I started writing everything down properly. That Viber message became this site.
I’m Marco Santos. I live in Quezon City, and I spent ten years in HR handling employee benefits — SSS contributions, PhilHealth filings, Pag-IBIG loans, the full stack of Philippine government paperwork. I’ve queued at 7 AM, been sent home for one missing document, and fixed a misspelled middle name on my own birth certificate (three visits, two affidavits, one very patient clerk).
Every guide here is written the way I’d explain it to a friend: what to bring, which line to fall in, what to do when something goes wrong, and what it really costs. Each one is checked against the official portal and carries a last-verified date so you know it’s current.
This is an independent site — not affiliated with the NBI, SSS, PhilHealth, Pag-IBIG, PSA, DFA, LTO, or any government agency. For anything that could cost you money or delay an application, confirm on the official portal linked in each guide.
Found something outdated? Check the last-verified date on the guide — keeping every article current is the whole point of this site.
